Prologue of the Exhibition Curated by Takuma Ishikawa “Tell all the Truth but tell it slant”

This exhibition was held as a prologue (pre-exhibition) to an exhibition curated by Takuma Ishikawa. The idea was to draw something on the gallery walls using only pencils. The participating artists used various kinds of pencils to draw texts, pictures, patterns, and other things on the walls. Toshima sampled past texts, manga, and panels, and dispersed them across the gallery’s various walls rather than placing them in any particular location.

Yoshida decided on the locations beforehand and drew four-panel manga and other things there. The exhibition that followed this one was “I’ve Been Dreaming for a Long Time.” curated by Takuma Ishikawa.
